Moderating a virtual session on the future of leadership at the launch of the IGA’s Maryam Forum – From Rulership to Leadership.

How do the next generation of smart, young aspiring leaders get heard? What qualities do they believe leaders need as we all confront the enormous global implications of COVID-19 and the Climate Emergency?

Those fundamental new expectations about leadership were the focus of a lively discussion chaired by Thinking the Unthinkable’s founder and co-director Nik Gowing.

The session celebrated the launch of the Maryam Foundation at the IGA. It is an exciting new multi-year programme designed to accelerate the much needed shift from rulership to leadership. This is urgently needed to tackle radical uncertainty and disruption.

See the five minute video of the students’ ideas and hopes.
