Lombard Odier | The Zero-Hour Sessions 2021

About The Zero-Hour Sessions

Lombard Odier was in Glasgow to host The Zero-Hour Sessions: a series of conversations on the relationships between nature, policy and the path to net zero.

Nik Gowing chaired Lombard Odier’s high-profile event, Investing in Nature at Scale, at COP26 in Glasgow in 2021. The session, attended by HRH The Prince of Wales, was part of a series of Zero-Hour discussions driving new green investment in nature and advancing the path to Net Zero.

The event was convened by the Natural Capital Investment Alliance (NCIA) and the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance (CBA). It formed a key part of HRH The Prince of Wales’s Terra Carta Action Forum, emphasizing innovative approaches to integrating natural capital into sustainable finance.

Lorenzo Bernasconi, Lombard Odier’s Head of Climate and Environmental Solutions, praised Nik for his contribution:

“Thank you for your fantastic job. It was a true pleasure for me to work with you and I was enormously impressed by your attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that the event would be a success. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you again.”

Tony O’Sullivan, Panellist and Founding Partner, Pollination said:

“Congratulations for your stellar moderation of the Natural Capital panel.”
